Põhjala Brewery was founded in late 2011 by four Estonian beer enthusiasts and domestic brewers. Our inspiration for brewing comes from local heritage, local nature and the Estonian cuisine. We take well‑known and popular beer styles and add our own distinctive twist with surprising ingredients or long barrel ageing.
Põhjala products have made many friends and are available in over 30 countries, including nearly all European countries, Russia, China, Japan, South Korea, the US, Canada and Singapore.
The brewery lobby has a compact but well-supplied Beer and Merch Shop, and on the second floor you’ll find the Põhjala Tap Room, a beer restaurant special in many ways.
